What service are you interested in?

What kind of structure are you looking to renovate and/or restyle? What is the scope of the work? What challenges are you experiencing with the space as-is? How would you want a designer and project manager to be involved?

Are you open to interior styles and to a designer directing the style of your home?

To maximize your investment and our time together, designers need a lot of freedom to develop and direct style based on the architecture/era of the space, our aesthetic and knowledge, and what you love. Often, our clients are surprised that they are way more satisfied with the style direction we develop compared to what they envisioned initially. If you have a very definitive style you want executed no matter what, we can discuss on our introductory call.

What is your approximate budget?

We know disclosing budget numbers immediately can feel strange, but it directs so much about how we proceed. At the most basic level, it is an immediate qualifier of service offering. Please note, Sparrow's agreement to take on a project is not a guarantee of budget. While we provide average square footage cost estimates, we can only know true costs once we move through the planning phase and have completed design. Note that styling packages do not have budget minimums, and we can more easily work within tighter budgets. If you're interested in one of our packages, a very rough project budget estimate on furniture/finishes is sufficient.

Does this budget include the design fee?

Please note that for full-service design or styling, Sparrow's project budget minimums are $125,000 for renovation and $20,000 per room for furniture/accessories, not including the design fee. Sparrow's full-service design + management services generally cost 18-25% of the total project budget for our work from concept through full execution.

What is your ideal and/or absolute timeline?

Sparrow typically schedules new full-service projects 90-120 days from agreement signing, and we do not schedule start times in November-December. The design and planning phase for full-service design takes an average of 6 months before we prepare for construction. If you need design support more quickly, our consultation packages can be wrapped up in 1-2 months and can often begin much sooner than full-service!
